Job Description
The Social Media and Digital Community Officer will drive MSF Taiwan’s digital community engagement initiatives, transforming MSF’s global humanitarian medical actions into meaningful local conversations with audiences in Taiwan. This role manages MSF Taiwan’s social media platforms, builds engaged communities through compelling storytelling, and deepens public understanding of humanitarian issues. Working within the Communications Department and the Digital Engagement Hub, this role will play a key role in connecting Taiwan audiences with MSF’s medical humanitarian work.
Major Responsibilities
- Drive strategic social media initiatives that translate global MSF communications content into engaging local dialogues, tailored to the digital behaviours and trends of Taiwan’s social media landscape.
- Build and nurture an active digital community through thoughtful content curation, meaningful interactions, and timely engagement with followers across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LINE, and YouTube.
- Manage daily social media operations including content planning, community moderation, and response management, ensuring consistent and authentic voice across channels.
- Create engaging multimedia content that resonates with audiences in Taiwan, guiding freelancers/vendors on creative direction while handling some in-house filming and editing.
- Analyse social media and community engagement metrics and social listening insights to optimise digital content strategy and deepen community connections.
- Collaborate with other members in the Communications Department and Digital Engagement Hub to support the MSF Taiwan strategic objectives and MSF social mission.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in social media management, with demonstrated experience in growing and engaging online communities
- Strong social media content production skills, with proven ability to adapt complex topics into engaging social media narratives.
- Ability to develop clear content briefs and coordinate effectively with external freelancers/vendors.
- Basic multimedia skills for social media content creation, including simple video/photo documentation and editing.
- Understanding of social media analytics and reporting, and ability to propose next step based on results.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Skilled in cross-departmental communication and collaboration.
- Excellent Mandarin Chinese writing and communication skills; intermediate English level.
- Commitment to the social mission and values of Médecins Sans Frontières.
Nice to Have
- Experience in NGO communications, journalism, or issue-based advocacy
- Knowledge of social media advertising
- Experience in video content planning/storyboarding
- Background in public health, international affairs, or related fields

社群經營與數位推廣專員
社群經營與數位推廣專員將負責推動無國界醫生(台灣)的數位社群發展,將全球人道醫療行動轉化為在地化的深度對話。此職位負責管理無國界醫生(台灣)各社群媒體平台,透過有說服力的優質內容建立活躍社群,加深大眾對人道議題的認識。作為媒體推廣部門及數位工作小組的一員,此職位將擔任連結台灣民眾與無國界醫生人道醫療工作的重要角色。
主要工作內容:
- 策劃社群媒體方案,將全球醫療人道救援內容轉化為在地化的社群對話,切合台灣社群媒體使用習慣與趨勢。
- 透過用心規劃的內容、有意義的互動及即時回應,在Facebook、Instagram、LINE及YouTube等平台建立並維護活躍的數位社群。
- 管理日常社群媒體運作,包含內容規劃、社群互動管理及回應處理,確保各平台溝通基調一致且真誠。
- 製作與台灣受眾產生共鳴的多媒體內容,指導外部合作夥伴創意方向,同時執行基本的內部攝影及剪輯需求。
- 分析社群媒體及社群參與數據,運用社群洞察優化數位內容策略並深化社群連結。
- 與媒體推廣部門及數位工作小組其他成員緊密合作,共同實現無國界醫生(台灣)的策略目標及無國界醫生的社會使命。
資格:
- 具備3年以上社群媒體管理經驗,具備社群經營與網路社群互動的成功經驗。
- 具備優秀的社群內容製作能力,能將複雜議題轉化為吸引人的社群敘事。
- 能提供清楚的內容企劃需求並有效協調外部合作夥伴。
- 具備社群媒體內容製作所需的基礎多媒體技能,包含簡單的影音紀錄與剪輯。
- 了解社群媒體分析及報告,能根據數據提出改善方案。
- 具備多工能力,能在快節奏環境中妥善安排工作優先順序,具跨部門溝通協作能力。
- 優秀的中文寫作及溝通能力,具中等程度英文能力。
- 認同無國界醫生的使命與價值。
