Job Description

Redeem is looking for a highly skilled and responsible Field Specialist (Tororo) who will reflect these values while empowering his/her team to protect widows and orphans from violence through the provision of security and transportation services. Specific attributes include:

Experience
Required: An Ordinary Level certificate or higher level of educational attainment;
Required: Two years of progressive experience in similar roles in a reputable organization; Preferred: Three or more years of experience in law enforcement and/or military service;
Preferred: Familiarity and experience driving in Bukedi sub-region and
Preferred: Experience in working in a multinational organization.

Skills
Required: Fluency in English, Japadhola, Lunyole and Ateso with excellent written and oral communication in all;
Required: A valid driver’s license and certificate in defensive driving;
Preferred: Self-defense and/or emergency responder training and certification;
Preferred: Certificate or demonstrable working knowledge in motor vehicle mechanics;
Preferred: Computer literacy with capacity in word processing, email, and other systems; and
Preferred: Understanding of Google business suite and digital project management tools.

The Field Specialist will report to the Program Manager and will be based in Tororo, working primarily in the Bukedi sub-region with occasional travel throughout Uganda.
