Job Description
Atomic Energy Council Seeks to Recruit highly motivated, result oriented and suitably qualified professional Corporate Communications Officer with high level of integrity.
Job Purpose:
To develop, implement and coordinate effective strategic corperate communication public information and stakeholder engagement strategies that enhance transparency safety culture, pubic understanding and confidence in the Atomic Energy Council mandate of ensuring the safe and secure use of Atomic Energy.
Qualifications
a) At least a Second Class upper Bachelor’s degree in either Mass Communication or Corporate Communication or Public relations or Journalism or Communications Sciences from a recognized and reputable university.
A Masters’ degree or Post Graduate qualification in Communication Management or Strategic Communication or Public Information is an added advantage.
Experience a qualification in Nuclear science and technology is an added advantage.
Working Experience
At least two (2) years working experience as a Corporate Communication Officer in a reputable organization.

Standards.
Dutles and Responsibilities
- Develop website articles and multimedia content
- Develop articles for print and electronic media corporate publication
- Manage AEC’s Corporate identity and Branding
- Update Communications Databases
- Participate in carrying out corporate social responsibility activities.
- Update the official website and social media platforms with timely accurate and relevant information.
- participate in the development, implementation and review of corporate communication strategy plan.
- Participate in the development of the annual communication work plan and budget.
- Prepare press releases and media statements through print, electronic and digital media.
